Queen's Brian May says he's excited to see the band's long-running musical "We Will Rock You" on the road in North America.

He tells "USA Today" fans who've seen the British production haven't seen what's coming to the U.S. stage.  He says they've made "quite a lot of changes" to the show, because it's customized for each country.

May explains that "the idea is that you feel like you're in the story, and the story is based on the history of rock 'n' roll in the seat that you're sitting."  The rocker adds that the North American version is "fabulous."

"We Will Rock You" will launch its North American run with five performances in Baltimore, Maryland starting Tuesday.  The production will hit a total of 26 cities across the U.S. and Canada, with engagements in each city ranging from two nights to six weeks.  Additional details are available at WeWillRockYou.com.
